Privacy policy

This page is a waitlist, not a product. The only thing it collects is the email address you type in, and it is used for one thing: telling you when the product opens.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- Your email address
- Only if you type it into the waitlist form and submit it. We store it in lower case.
- Your browser's language setting
- For example
en-GB. We use it to decide which language to write to you in. - A one-way hash of your IP address
- We never store your IP address itself. We store an irreversible hash of it, salted with a secret, purely to stop one person submitting the form hundreds of times. It cannot be turned back into an IP address.
There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site. We do not set any cookies.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you asked us to. Submitting the form is you consenting to one notification email. That consent is the only basis we rely on, and you can withdraw it at any time — see below.
What we send you
One email, when the product opens. If something changes materially before then — a long delay, or a decision not to launch — we may send one more. We do not send marketing, newsletters or anything else, and we will never sell, rent or share your address with another company.
Who can see it
Only us. The data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare D1), which processes it on our behalf under its own data protection terms. When we send the launch email we will use an email delivery provider, which will see your address in order to deliver the message. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Until we have sent the launch email and you have had a chance to act on it, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the day you signed up. After that we delete it. If we decide not to launch, we delete the whole list and tell you we have.
Your rights
Email hello@translook.center and we will act within 30 days. You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold on you
- correct it
- delete it — no reason needed, and we will not ask for one
- stop contacting you
If you are in the UK, the EU or another place with similar law, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This is a tool for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
When the product itself opens, this policy will be replaced by a fuller one covering accounts, payments and generated videos. This version only describes the waitlist page. If we change it before then we will update the date at the top.
